Extracts/ Tinctures
The ingredients used in my tinctures, from the leaf to the resin, are carefully sourced from small organic farmers nationwide. It takes at least one year for them to become ready to offer for sale on your journey. I put them through a steeping process to procure as much of the herb's medicinal benefits. Some ingredients are derived from plants that have a tough protective barrier and it is essential to penetrate it so the cells in the body can utilize it.
Glycerin serves as a solvent in herbal tinctures. It extracts and preserves the medicinal properties of the plants. Alcohol extracts the maximum amount of medicinal properties from the plant. I use very little alcohol to do this.
